INTERNET-BASED KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT ENVIRONMENT ECO JOB-AP

Dear Beneficiaries,

During process of creation of Internet-based environment for education and knowledge management of EcoProfession-AP (agricultural production), the authors aimed to provide a system that will offer benefits for you in the following way:
1.Improving your education through providing information about Common Agricultural Policy of the EU, and modern agricultural systems.
2.Providing opportunities to manage your newly acquired knowledge to receive professional qualification - EcoProfession-AP (EcoFarmer and EcoExpert-AP).
3.Studying Model-farms and motivating entrepreneurs to undertake organic (biological) agriculture production.

Internet-environment for Management of Education and Knowledge (EKME) is a tool for motivating entrepreneurship in organic agriculture for receiving Qualifications “EcoProfession in agriculture: Ecofarmer and Еcoexpert -AP”

Who are potential USERS (“U”) of EKME-EcoJob-AP?

  • Agricultural sector: farmers, managers, specialists, administrators in governmental and non-governmental institutions, extension services, cеrtification bodies, farmers’ unions, associations, foundations, firms, etc.
  • Education sector: students, teachers and lecturers in Colleges and Universities, professional schools, vocational training centres, researchers in scientific and research institutes, etc.

Why the USERS would benefit to EKME?

  • To receive new knowledge regarding ecological (organic) agricultural production;
  • To broaden their knowledge about EU agricultural policy; modern agricultural systems; establishing and managing organic farms; consulting for certification of organic agricultural units, etc.;
  • To manage their knowledge in Internet-based environment, which makes easier the continuous vocational education;
  • To acquire skills to use acquired knowledge for professional realisation of ‘Ecofarmers’ and ‘EcoExerts-AP’.


What are the aims of promoters of EKME-EcoJob-AP?

  • To support the process of management of knowledge of ‘U’ for acquiring competences for realization of professional qualification EcoJob-AP;
  • To assist U in acquiring educational levels:

   - EcoFarmer– level “3” for farmers with opportunity to acquire level “4”, and

   - EcoExpert-AP - “EcoExpert-AP” – level “4” for agricultural experts with opportunity to acquire level “5” in accordance with European Qualification Framework of Ecofarming.

  • To support transfer and transparency of application of professional qualification framework Ecofarming in different countries and educational systems in agrarian sector.
  • EKME-EcoJob-AP provides opportunities to be used as a model of use in other sectors when acquiring professional qualifications.

  • Part Five: Innovative ICT System for Testing and Assessment

Every user may use the specialised “ICT” System for Testing and Assessment of knowledge in ecological agriculture, and through developed parameters to assess his/her information and readiness for ecological agriculture production.

1.The term “Biological agriculture” adopted in Bulgaria, you may find in the text as “organic agriculture” or “ecological agriculture”, because we accept that the terms have similar meaning.
2.EcoJob-AP is the English abbreviation of the term Eco-Profession – Agricultural Production.
3.ЕКМЕ – it is the English abbreviation of “Education and Knowledge Management Environment”.
